近日，第十六届自治区自然科学优秀学术论文奖揭晓，中国科学院新疆生态与地理研究所挂靠学会报送的“Biogeographical distribution of bacterial communities in saline agricultural soil”（作者赵帅、刘俊杰、Samiran Banerjee等）、“Comprehensive evaluation and sustainable development of water-energy-food-ecology systems in Central Asia”（作者秦景秀、段伟利、 陈亚宁等）、“Increasing risk of glacial lake outburst floods from future Third Pole deglaciation”（作者郑国雄Simon Keith Allen、包安明等）三篇论文获得一等奖。
“Identification of key industries of industrial sector with energy-related CO2 emissions and analysis of their potential for energy cinserrvation and emission reduction in Xinjiang China”（作者夏富强、张新焕、蔡天毅等）、“Allocation of foliar-P fractions of Alhagi sparsifolia and its relationship withsoil-P fractions and soil properties in a hyperarid desert ecosystem”（作者高艳菊、Akash Tariq、曾凡江等）、“Mapping population on Tibetan Plateau by fusing VIIRS data and nighttime Tencent location-based services data”（作者马轩凯、杨兆萍、王敬哲等）、“Life history responses of spring-and autumn-germinated ephemeral plants to increased nitrogen and precipitation in the Gurbantunggut Desert”（作者陈艳锋、张玲卫、施翔等）等四篇论文获得二等奖。
自治区自然科学优秀学术论文奖是自治区人民政府奖，评奖周期为两年，由自治区科学技术协会、自治区科学技术厅、自治区人力资源和社会保障厅联合承办。第十六届评选工作于今年5月启动，自治区各学会（协会、研究会）、地州市科协、兵团科协、高校、科研院所共推荐期限内发表的符合参评条件的理科、工科、农科、医科、综合交叉学科论文1654篇，共评选出一、二、三等奖论文235篇。
