2024.1-2026.12,担任GSA Bulletin(美国地质学会会刊)副主编。
主要从事构造地质学与大地构造研究,聚焦新疆及中亚邻区造山带结构-构造解析,通过解剖造山带弧前盆地、俯冲-增生杂岩、高压/超高压变质带等地体的物质组成、构造变形、以及运动学特征,厘定其大地构造单元属性、时空配置关系,以及构造古地理演化。此外,精通俄语,熟悉中亚区域地质构造背景,服务“一带一路”新疆-中亚跨境矿产能源领域的构造基础研究。
